Fig Salad

NC Ingredients: 
Figs, Broccoli, Pecans




1⁄4 c
fresh figs, roughly chopped
1⁄3 c
pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
6 c
small broccoli florets
1⁄2 c
sour cream
1 T
white wine vinegar
2 T
orange juice
Salt and pepper to taste


In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, vinegar and orange juice. Season mixture with salt and pepper.


In a large bowl, combine figs, pecans and broccoli. Pour sour cream mixture over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat.



Lisa’s Notes: A simple sweet salad. You can add more figs. Bacon would be a nice addition as well.
